Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized using an application that allows you to save your home's maps as well as set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or other toys. These are must-have features in my house, stuffed with toys that are scattered about.

  1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and even raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming damp. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also comes with mop lifter technology which lifts the pad automatically as it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs, to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

In addition, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be used for rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I tested it with its standard vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level as other hybrids I've tried.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only downside being the fact that it's expensive. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very appealing alternative for anyone who wishes to go away from their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.

  1. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop combination. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combinations available. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the home. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models due to their rotational motion as well as a strong dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the water tank for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tried. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's numerous premium features, it requires regular care and maintenance. To avoid mildew and unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads that are sold separately also need to be changed periodically.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning at your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

  1. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can pick up dirt and dust on your floors while cleaning up wet mess then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa, an impressively large battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming and a top-of-the-line obstacle avoidance. It even has mop rollers that clean itself as it goes and makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that have to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage bin. The onboard tank holds a good amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. It will need to be filled with clean water, however this is a simple task within the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map the area and moved around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on longer pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this could be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that has a lot of functionality at an affordable price.

  1. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborocks entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a good bit of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clear everything that's been mapped by the device, or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine that you've crafted. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to clean your home as it maps the area.

Like all Roborock models we've evaluated like all the Roborock models we've tested, the Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system works well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat manner. Its 'Normal" pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn't leave any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major issue: it doesn't have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who regularly vacuum before using their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by your vacuuming. It's a nice feature and can help the robot clean up a little bit better than its less expensive competitors.
